about HQCS CAD software.

Installation & Setup

Download the installer from our Downloads page, run the setup file, and follow the on-screen instructions. The installation wizard will guide you through the process. Make sure your system meets the minimum requirements before installation.

HQCS CAD requires Windows 10/11 or macOS 12+, 8GB RAM minimum (16GB recommended), 4GB free disk space, and a dedicated graphics card with OpenGL 4.5 support. For optimal performance, we recommend an SSD and 1920x1080 or higher display resolution.

Your license allows installation on up to 2 computers for personal use. For team or enterprise licenses, please contact our sales team for multi-seat options.

Licensing & Activation

After installation, open the application and go to Help > Activate License. Enter your license key received via email and click Activate. Internet connection is required for activation. If you encounter issues, check that your firewall isn't blocking the connection.

Yes, you can deactivate your license on one computer and activate it on another. Go to Help > Manage License > Deactivate, then activate on your new computer using the same license key.

When your subscription expires, you can continue using the software in read-only mode to view and export your projects. To resume full editing capabilities, renew your subscription through your account dashboard.

Features & Usage

HQCS CAD supports DWG, DXF, PDF, SVG, PNG, JPG, and our native .hqcs format. You can import from and export to all major CAD formats for seamless collaboration with other software.

Currently, HQCS CAD is available for desktop (Windows and macOS). A mobile viewer app for iOS and Android is in development and will be released soon for viewing and annotating projects on the go.

Yes, HQCS CAD Pro includes real-time collaboration features. Share your project via the Collaborate menu, invite team members via email, and work together simultaneously with live cursor tracking and chat.

Troubleshooting

First, ensure your graphics drivers are up to date. Try running the software as administrator. If the issue persists, delete the settings folder at %AppData%/HQCS (Windows) or ~/Library/Application Support/HQCS (macOS) and restart.

Try opening the file with File > Recover. If that doesn't work, check if the file was created in a newer version. You may need to update your software. For corrupted files, contact support with the file attached.

Go to Edit > Preferences > Reset to Defaults. This will restore all settings to their original state. Your projects and license will not be affected. Restart the application after resetting.
